One Bedroomed family Villa in Stoupa

Stoupa is 35 Km from Kalamata, the capital of Messinia county. The village has 725 permanent residents, mostly Greek, but a few German and English. It has one of the most beautiful beaches. There is excellent provision for hotel accommodation. There are traditional fish taverns, and the seas are crystal clear and shallow, with sandy beaches and seabed.

Stoupa is a romantic and picturesque place, where the peaceful silver green of the olive groves meet the crystal clear turquoise of the Messinian Bay.

There are two Stoupa beaches, the smaller is called Kalogria and its turning is off the main road opposite the large supermarket on the main road.

KARDAMILI

Down the lane to the harbour from the square in the centre of Kardamili that holds the pretty little church, is a traditional Greek Taverna, that grills dinners on charcoal still, with home-made appetizers -

'O Kipos tis Skardamoulas' (Skardamoulas Garden).

Kardamili is easily reached a few moments drive from Stoupa, on the main road towards Kalamata.

At the far end, towards Kalamata end of Kardamili is a short nice walk up to a flower bedecked path to a Byzantine church that dominates the town.
